This weekend we had our last family party to say good-bye to my cousin Madeleine and her 3 kids. We had a pot luck lunch/dinner at my brother's house. Carol made the cutest teddy bear cake for Stephanie's birthday and my brother made ribs and steamed Red Snapper which was deeleecious. I made garlic bread and brought an apple strudel for dessert. Even though it was a sad occassion, it was great to spend time with the entire family and see the kids play together. Steph and Charlotte spent time in the backyard huddled by the fence. I had no idea what they were doing but they stood there for a good 15 minutes while Steph patted Char on the shoulder and put her arm around her. So adorable! We will miss Mad and the kids very much but look forward to visiting them (and enjoying many pig out fests) in Seoul.
