Went to dinner with some friends at a nearby resto "the nose" which was so delicious as usual. We were seated in a private vault and thought it might be nice to have a photo of the two of us since it had been ages since we had one taken. Too bad some little people got in the way...
Today we visited a new aquatic centre in our neighbourhood. It was finally a beautiful spring day and Marley enjoyed the play date with her friends Tyler and Max.
We're just past the 5 month mark and weighing in at 13 lbs, 7 oz. 64 cm long. Learned to roll from front to back (which makes napping a bit more challenging) and still waiting for some teeth to show up. (And hair for that matter!) Got the whole drooling thing down pat though.
This has definitely been the worst winter in awhile. Minus temperatures and lots of snow! Took this pic last night during yet another epic snowfall.
Here is Sunday with her future bf Jaxon. Although considering his brother Tyler is Marley's boyfriend, that might be a little awkward.
A sweet moment between sisters before Sunday started crying. She's recently learned to suck her thumb (and anything else within reach) which helps with her temper tantrums when she gets bored.
Saturday Marley was invited to the birthday party of our neighbour's son who turned 6. It was held at the cooking school at Loblaws. She got to make her own pizza, fruit kabob and decorate 6 cupcakes which she was able to take home. It was such a blast and she was so excited (as was I) to have cupcakes to enjoy later.
I'm so glad I had a 2nd child for one reason: now I know what its like to have an "easy" baby. I had heard about the phenomenon during my sleepless nights with Marley but now those dreams have become a reality for me. My baby Sunday knows how to sleep and eat! She can almost sleep through the night (usually just waking once or twice max) and doesnt need to be rocked, breastfed or otherwise induced to go to bed. I can literally put her down awake with her pacifier and she's out a few minutes later. Perhaps a few moments of fussing but nothing compared to the hour of bouncing, feeding and rocking I would have to do for Marley.

This is Gerwyn in his new glasses. He came home in them the other day and I was quite shocked at how much they changed his appearance! He looks like such an intellectual! Good thing I love geeks!
