I'm so glad I had a 2nd child for one reason: now I know what its like to have an "easy" baby. I had heard about the phenomenon during my sleepless nights with Marley but now those dreams have become a reality for me. My baby Sunday knows how to sleep and eat! She can almost sleep through the night (usually just waking once or twice max) and doesnt need to be rocked, breastfed or otherwise induced to go to bed. I can literally put her down awake with her pacifier and she's out a few minutes later. Perhaps a few moments of fussing but nothing compared to the hour of bouncing, feeding and rocking I would have to do for Marley.
