1. Marley had her first "friends" birthday party when she turned 6 at a movie theatre. Thought it was going to be less work but turns out, that's not the case! I can't believe she will be 7 next year. She's become quite the big sister. Today at dinner, she blew Sunday's dinner for her (to cool it down) and helps Sunday on a regular basis. I've also now started to see them protect each other when one is scared which is so nice to see. (And balances out all of the fighting that usually takes place.)
2. Sunday is now 3! She is SO excited to go to kindergarten next year. First she has to stop wearing her pull ups at night and stop sucking her thumb but we've agreed that this will take place before she goes to school. (fingers crossed.) She's quite the character and definitely more outgoing of the two. (And way more saucy! This one's definitely gonna be trouble as she gets older!)
3. We joined the YMCA where the kids have started swimming lessons. Marley also took Piano and Ballet for awhile but we are taking a break from that for the rest of the year. This summer our goal is to get her riding her 2 wheel bike!
4. We've managed to do a vacation a year for the last few years (yahoo!). Always resorts, but fun in the sun is still fun nonetheless! We've done Dominican, Mexico and Jamaica. Hoping to plan one more trip this year, perhaps to Vancouver or maybe somewhere in 'Merica.
5. Gerwyn's best friend Victor is finally getting married this year so we are very excited and preparing for a big celebration! It will likely be one of the last close friend weddings we'll attend for awhile. Hoping the girls will be good for their first sleep over at Sooky Emo's house.
Here's hoping it won't be another 3 years before my next update.
