Growing up
Here's a pic of Saadia and myself with our girls after ballet class. Luckily we were both able to get our girls in the same class on Sunday mornings.
Catching up
Been too long since my last post. Poor Sunday is definitely experiencing second child syndrome. No pictures or posts and no celebrating milestones! Time to rectify that by posting about her first timeout. Today she bit me (again) and I decided to try the trusty timeout to see what would happen. She definitely knew she did something wrong and actually sat for the first 15 seconds not making eye contact. But after that it was back to chasing me asking for "uppies" every 2 seconds. Its hard to stay mad when the kid is so cute...

Happy 1st Birthday Sunday!
Today my little baby girl turned one. Time has flown by much quicker the 2nd time around even though every day I squeeze her and tell her to stop growing up so fast. My teeny tiny 4 lb. niblet is now a one year old. She soldier crawls or walks with support but refuses to get on all fours. She shrieks when the food doesnt come fast enough and now claps her hands and shakes her head "no". Every day I try to appreciate her "babyness" before its gone.
We also did the test where we laid out various items to see which she would choose (a ball, a book, a stethoscope, a pen and a $20 bill) and she chose the money. This is a Korean custom which supposedly determines their future. Let's hope that $20 bill turns into a whole lot more!
Happy birthday my little Sunday.

If the tiara fits...
Just happened to be playing with big sister's toys and found a tiara which fit perfectly. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.
Happy 4th Birthday Marley!
Last week we celebrated Marley's birthday with a few of her (and our) closest friends. All of her fave things were accounted for: chocolate cake, pink icing, balloons, and friends!
Marley's First Day of School
This September Marley started Junior Kindergarten. Lucky for us, the school is right across the street and the same school where she has been attending preschool, so the transition was relatively tear free (for both of us!) Marley seems to like school and even gets disappointed on Fridays since there is no school until Monday. Can't believe the time is flying so quickly. Makes me appreciate the baby stage with Sunday while I have it!!
